There are some beautiful walk around Woodchurch Village that will suit all levels of walker. In the 1980s the village had a very active Woodcurch Footpath Group who prepared many of the walks below. These are now being reviewed and updated for us all to enjoy once again.Â
Please be aware that this page is currently being updated and more walks will be added as they become available.
Walk 3 – Cole Wood & Whitewick Wood
Approx. 3½ miles. Allow 1½ -2 hours.
Woodland, track and arable walk, using stiles and gates. Lovely in springtime for bluebells, and views over Woodchurch
Walk 4 – Silcock Wood
Approx. 4 miles. Allow 1½ -2 hours.
Easy walk through open farmland, fields and woodland using stiles and gates.
Walk 5 – Cole Wood
Approx. 3 miles. Allow 1½ hours.
Woodland and arable walk, using stiles and gates.
Lovely in spring time for the primroses and bluebells and butterflies in the summer.
Walk 6 – Maiden Wood
Approx. 2 3/4 miles. Allow 1½ -2 hours.
Easy walk through open farmland, fields and woodland using stiles and gates.
